J&I Duct Fab announced the promotion of Hannah Murray to President of the commercial HVAC duct fabrication company. Founder and CEO Gerald Miller, who owns the company, will continue to serve as CEO and remain actively involved in day-to-day operations as part of a long-term succession plan.

Murray brings a broad operational and leadership background to the role, with responsibility spanning operations, people, strategy, and financial oversight. Since returning to J&I Duct Fab two years ago as Vice President, she has played a key role in strengthening operational efficiency and improving company culture across the organization.

Prior to rejoining the company, Murray spent ten years working across a range of industries, including staffing, manufacturing, insurance, and hospitality. That experience provided her with a wide-ranging perspective on business operations, team development, and process improvement, which she has applied in her leadership at J&I Duct Fab.

Founded by Gerald Miller, J&I Duct Fab is a first-generation, family-owned business with second-generation leadership now in place, specializing in commercial HVAC duct fabrication. The company serves customers throughout the Midwest and East Coast and employs approximately 20 team members.

Gerald Miller, a visionary industry veteran and active leader, founded the company following more than four decades in the mechanical and HVAC industry. As CEO, he will continue to guide the company’s vision and strategic direction while working closely with Hannah Murray in her new role as President.

The promotion reflects J&I Duct Fab’s commitment to leadership continuity, operational excellence, and long-term growth while maintaining the hands-on leadership and values that have shaped the company’s success.
